I'm so happy you found me!

My name's Taylor. I'm a busy city girl in my mid-twenties forever in search of the latest, greatest trends in food and drink. Oh, and I love to take lots of photos along the way!šŸ˜Iā€™m the founder of The Girl on Bloor blog and have worked with several different food brands over the last 5 years.

I currently work as a recipe developer, food photographer, prop stylist, social media strategist and brand consultant. I've had the pleasure of creating content (including video) for a variety of brands, including the Canadian grocery store chain Loblaws, Vitamix, Harvest Snaps, Mutti Tomatoes, Almond Breeze, The Peanut Bureau, The Canadian Produce Marketing Association, Campbell's, Egg Farmers of Canada, Pure Leaf Tea, Summer Fresh Dips, Dr. Oetker, Barilla Pasta, The Watermelon Board, Mann's, NYT best-selling author Yuri Elkaim and more.

I've lived on and off Bloor Street in downtown Toronto for over six years, which is the main inspiration behind the name of my food blog, The Girl on Bloor. However, the majority of my family calls Hamilton, Ontario home and I often travel back and forth between the two cities. In the process, I have built up quite the collection of food photography props, backgrounds, lighting, cameras and all the other necessary equipment to take stunning, colourful photos in my home studio.

My food photography business is a result of not only my passion, but over three years' worth of experience creating uber-shareable content perfectly suited for the web - and my Master's degree in Journalism from Ryerson University certainly doesn't hurt. I've worked for the Yellow Pages, am a current contributor to HuffPost Canada Living, and my work has also been featured in Buzzfeed, ELLE, The Huffington Post, Better Homes and Gardens, Yahoo, Redbook Magazine, Brit + Co, MSN and more!

I love working with awesome companies - both big and small - to create ready-to-post food photos and videos, and I also love to consult on strategies to help grow your online presence and business. If you'd like to connect in any way, I'd be so happy to hear from you! There are a ton of fabulous ways we can work together.
